Brain 64 -128K K ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) Leased Line

ISDN brings the digital network to the individual user. Using the same copper phone lines that modem use, ISDN delivers a five-fold speed improvement (up to 128 Kbps) and provides essentially perfect transmission reliability.
Because ISDN uses the existing local telephone wiring, it's equally available to home and business customers. Most important for Internet users, however, is that ISDN provides a huge improvement in access speed at only a fractional increase in cost. ISDN connections are established by dialing a number, just like you do when dialing out on a modem

Clients can utilize this service from PTCL, for this purpose they need to undergo an agreement with PTCL. PTCL will then provide the company with special line, current etc. In other words, PTCL establishes a mode to use these services. Next thing the company has to do is to contact the ISP having ISDN modems at their end. This may take about 1 to 2 weeks time period.

ISDN Charges (PTCL)

1. Installation/connection Charges (excluding sales Tax) Rs. 3,700/- (2 x PSTN) for Basic Access with Network Termination Equipment

2. Installation charges (excluding sales Tax) of Rs. 37,000 (20 x PSTN) Primary Rate Access/EI Line (EWSD AXE-10-E10B. NEAX-61 etc)

Monthly Subscription Charges
Line Rent = Rs. 522/- (2 x PSTN)
C.E.D 15% = Rs. 78/-
Total = Rs. 600/-

A wide range of people-customer service phone center, telecommuters, Internet user, home based business, if you send and receive large files on a regular basis (photos, videos, sounds etc), if you surf the web daily and prefer more bandwidth than 56k and face to face video conferencing and Multimedia Files etc.

How to get ISDN Line?

ISDN dialup greatly improves your Internet access by improving the type of telephone service you use. It requires that you have ISDN digital telephone service from your telephone company. Unlike the speed ratings of conventional modems, when ISDN is labeled 64k, it means exactly 64k, every call, all the time, in both the upload and downloads direction. An ISDN call to an Internet provider is like being wired to the provider with a digital wire. To use ISDN for Internet access, you need an ISDN phone line from PTCL, an ISDN access account from us, and an ISDN terminal adapter (commonly but inaccurately called an ISDN modem).
